Although the Air Ambulance Service serves the NHS it receives no ongoing government funding. Soon after its launch, the charity was supported, along with 13 other such services in the country by a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with the AA.
That support has now come to an end and Anglia One is now entirely dependant on the goodwill of the people and businesses of East Anglia.
A recent survey carried out by the Air Ambulance has shown that the people of East Anglia are more disposed to support their air ambulance than any other region in the country.

The service requires a minimum of £250,000 per month to keep two helicopters flying. A vast sum of money that comes in through a number of fund-raising schemes such as:

- Pay as you earn schemes in the workplace
