To celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2010 the East Anglian Air Ambulance is running a photography competition to produce a calendar for 2011 and a series of Christmas cards.
The theme of the competition is 'Eastern England at its Best.'
Please read the rules below carefully before submitting your entry.

Terms and conditions of entry:
The EAAA will select 12 photographs entered as part of this competition to be included in the EAAA 2011 Charity Calendar. A further 4 will be selected to be part of the EAAA charity Christmas card range for 2010.
Photographs must have been taken within the geographical area served by the East Anglian Air Ambulance which is the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk and must have been taken between 1 January 2009 and 30 March 2010. The theme of the competition is ‘Eastern England at its Best.’
The EAAA helicopter(s) do not need to be in the photograph but appropriate pictures of the aircraft that meet the competition’s theme may be submitted.
Entries are limited to three photographs per entrant. Only one photograph per entry will be selected for inclusion in the calendar and/or the Christmas card range. No entrant may receive more than one prize.
Entrants under the age of 16 must have the consent of their parental or guardian to enter.
The competition is open to UK residents only.
Copyright of the photograph must belong solely to the entrant. The permission of anyone featured in the photograph must have been gained prior to submission and in the case of children under 16 the permission of parent/guardian. Entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photograph.
Photographs must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party.
Photographs may be taken with a digital or other camera.
Photographs must be clear and in colour.
Photographs for the Christmas cards entry may be landscape or portrait – however only landscape entries will be considered for the calendar.
Images may be digitally enhanced to remove spots or scratches. Entrants may enhance the picture to make it brighter etc but not manipulate the content. Any image the judges believe has been excessively treated will be disqualified.
Entries are to be supplied in the following format:
Digital: Please provide your entry on a CD. Resolution 300dpi pictures should be preferably be saved as file format tiff. Transparencies: preferably medium/large format (35mm) Prints: large format prints (A4 size)
Entries will not be returned and proof of posting is not proof of receipt. The organisers accept no responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
Prior to submission, entrants must not have offered any of their entries for sale, been paid for any publication of any of their entries or won or been a runner up in any other photographic competition with any of their entries.
The entry form, which can be downloaded from this page, must be clearly completed and attached with every entry. Entries not accompanied by a signed entry form will be disqualified.
By submitting photographs to the competition entrants grant EAAA permission to use, reproduce, exhibit and publish (including provision to third parties) all entries with an acknowledgment of the photographer wherever possible. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses.

Entries must be received by 5 pm on 30 March 2010. Winners will be notified in writing by 31 May 2010
12 winners will have their entry reproduced as part of the 2011 EAAA charity calendar and 4 as part of the EAAA charity Christmas card range for 2010.
All those whose photos are chosen will be credited on the cards and calendar. They will also be invited to visit Anglia One, the air ambulance serving Norfolk and Suffolk, or Anglia Two, which serves Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. They will also receive a photograph of themselves with the aircraft as a memento of their visit.
By entering, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and the EAAA reserves the right to exclude any entry from the competition at any time and in its absolute discretion if the judges have reason to believe that an entrant has breached these rules.
These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
