The East Anglian Air Ambulance Lottery is one of the most important areas of fundraising for the charity.  Money is raised through a combination of  a traditional lottery game and scratchcards which offer prizes from £1 up to a top prize of £1,000.  The scratchcards can be purchased through selected lottery agents or from our fundraisers at the many events that we attend.

Membership of the weekly lottery game is just £1 per chance per week. As we receive no government or National Lottery funding, this initiative raises a significant amount of the £3million pounds a year we need to keep our life-saving helicopters flying.

Each member receives a membership card containing a number, which is entered into the weekly draw with the chance to win any of the prizes on offer. Each household will also be sent a copy of our quarterly magazine, 'Anglia Lift Off.'  All winning numbers will be displayed here on the website on a weekly basis.

We are always keen to hear from businesses that would like to become a lottery agent for our charity.  Many village stores and newsagents already help us in this way - usually by adding the £1 lottery contribution onto the weekly newspaper bill for the supporter.

Some of the agents also sell scratchcards for us.  If you would like to find out more details about acting as an agent for our lottery games please contact Colin Mowles in our lottery office on 08451 307676

Norwich Brewery Bowls clubWinners of one of the recent draw’s £1,000 jackpot were the members of the Norwich Brewery Bowls Club – and after a spell of bad luck for the club which saw them lose their green of 34 years and much of their equipment in a fire - the win was a welcome boost.
The club’s treasurer Joan Fish decided to support the air ambulance lottery around five years ago.  She said it was a huge surprise to hear that the club had won.  “I had been out for the day and when I got home my husband told me the air ambulance people had phoned to say we had won the lottery – but he hadn’t asked them how much.  When the cheque arrived in the post the next day it was a lovely surprise.”
