The weekly EAAA lottery helps us raise 45% of our income every year, and we need someone to help to support the administration involved with this.
The role involves:
- Calling a handful of recent lottery sign ups per week to check they were happy with the process and their experience of EAAA
- Co-ordinate volunteers who mystery shop our canvassers
- Sending out letters to different sets of lottery players
Collection Box Volunteer - Various Locations
Norfolk, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Flitwick, Luton, Biggleswade, Bedford, Wishbech & Downham Market, Debenham, Stowmarket, Framlingham, Aldeburgh, Martlesham, East Bergholt, Shotley.
Events volunteers - Brandon, Haverhill, Mildenhall, Bedford, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Flitwick, Luton, Biggleswade
We are regularly invited to attend events across the county which provides a great opportunity to promote the work of our charity. We go to fêtes, fairs, and country shows, as well as carnivals and sporting events. We take the chance to share information about the work we do and sell our merchandise, helping us raise vital funds. If you like getting out and about and meeting people, this is the role for you.
Store collectors - Brandon, Haverhill, and Mildenhall
Collections are a very simple way to raise valuable funds and a couple of hours of your time can make a big difference, collecting for one day alone can raise £500. All you have to do is stand with a bucket, or hand out fliers asking for bottle donations for our tombolas, smile and watch the coins or bottles come your way! It’s a great opportunity to meet lots of new people, including other volunteers, and to help us raise vital funds.
Public speakers – Cambridge, Biggleswade, Bedford, King's Lynn, Luton and North Norfolk
Our fundraising teams are looking for confident volunteers who are able to give talks and presentations to small groups around Suffolk and Cambridge. The talks will be about the work of the charity and we will provide you with all the information and presentation slides to use. If you think you would like to help us show local groups the work that we do, please get in touch.
