The Board of Trustees is seeking expressions of interest from its supporters for trustee positions that will become vacant in the next year and would welcome the opportunity to brief anyone interested in more detail, with no commitment at this stage.
As a supporter, you will know of the valuable life-saving work done by EAAA helicopter-borne medical teams across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. You may be less aware of how it is run. As a charity, EAAA is governed by a Board of Trustees. The trustees are responsible for the charity, giving strategic leadership and oversight of the executive team, staff and volunteers.
The Board comprises a set of up to nine volunteer trustees with a range of backgrounds and competences as befits a charity that is involved in the highly-regulated areas of aviation, medicine and fundraising. The role involves a significant commitment of time to preparing for and attending Board meetings and to maintaining contact within the charity. Trustees are encouraged to be in touch with all areas of EAAA and invariably find it a fascinating, inspiring and worthwhile experience. We seek specialists and generalists.
If you think you might be able to play a part in running this life-saving charity at Board-level, please fill in the below form. The deadline for expressions of interest is 31 December. We will contact you after this date with next steps.
