Clinical Liaison Officer
Location: Cambridgeshire & surrounding areas
Salary: AFC Band 6 – you will be seconded to EAAA on your current NHS Terms & Conditions of Employment.
Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract: Secondment opportunity for two years
At East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) we place our patients at the centre of our operation and are in touch with many more people whose lives may have been affected by the service we provide. To help support our work in this area we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Liaison Officer to join our dedicated Aftercare Team on a 2-year secondment.
You will have experience in supporting patients and families in difficult and often tragic circumstances, to support EAAA patients and their families post trauma/incident, during their recovery and following bereavement. The role involves facilitating a debrief of their treatment, explaining interventions that took place, providing ongoing support and providing feedback and outcome information to the crew, to improve clinical care.
The role will cover Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas and will involve travel to a variety of sites across the region.
