Patrick Peal, Chief Executive

Patrick was employed as a development engineer with Group Lotus following his graduation from Salford University. After 20 years he moved into engineering sales and became Head of Communications. In 1997 Patrick left and set up his own PR consultancy business, winning several awards. Patrick is now Chief Executive of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, an organisation close to his heart and one that he had a hand in founding.

Joanna Dew, Director of Fundraising

As Fundraising Director, Joanna Dew supports the fundraising team across East Anglia to deliver the £11M East Anglia Air Ambulance needs to keep the doctor and paramedic team in the air and saving lives. Jo has worked with other charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Oxfam, and a Hospice. Matthew Jones, Director of Operations

Matthew is a chartered surveyor, natural science and MBA graduate, with a career that has spanned the property investment, automotive manufacturing, and science park sectors. Roles have included marketing, public relations, and corporate planning functions, as well as operational management of shopping centres, vehicle production units, and Norwich Research Park. Matthew is now Director of Operations at the East Anglian Air Ambulance and he is delighted to be making a contribution to such a great operation.

Alastair Wilson, Medical Director

Alastair has an impressive background in Accident and Emergency medicine, founding the Londons Air Ambulance. Much of Alastair’s career was spent at the Royal London Hospital, where he retired as a consultant surgeon in 2013. Alastair was awarded an OBE for his efforts in the 7/7 bombings alongside transport and emergency service staff who responded that day. Alastair is delighted to be working in the air ambulance community who are forward thinking in trauma.
