Events Lead (Stewardship)
Annual Salary: £26,907 - £30,750 per annum
Location: Norwich Office
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
Contract: Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Lead (Stewardship) to join our life-saving charity.
You will work as part of a team to ensure EAAA’s virtual and in-person events programme remains exciting, relevant, inclusive and above all fun!
You will lead on and deliver effective stewardship and engagement plans for EAAA’s flagship events, develop excellent supporter journeys for all event participants from sign up through to event day, and beyond. You will use all existing and test new communication channels (post, email, socials, 3rd party platforms, text) to ensure all participants maximise their fundraising potential, feel supported throughout and have a great experience supporting EAAA.
You will also lead and deliver on the recruitment and stewardship for individual challenges, own place and partner events.
About you:
You will have experience of working within a charity or business development role, within an events or marketing team. Through your exceptional planning and with the Charity’s reputation at the forefront of your decisions, you will ensure all our event participants always have a great experience supporting EAAA.
You will understand working to a budget, meeting income targets and have the ability to address any shortfalls in income/overspends or capitalise on opportunities to ensure you achieve budget.
You will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. Equally comfortable in liaising with a diverse range of supporters and working in collaboration with colleagues.
With a good understanding of social media and digital channels you will have the ability to manage the social media pages for events to encourage engagement and boost the sign-up rate. You will be responsible for ensuring all event marketing messages, supporter stewardship materials, online content including website and event social media pages, and literature is accurate and on brand.
You will be able to drive and due to the nature of the events, you will need to have a flexible approach to work so you can support out of hours work, including weekends. Time off in lieu is offered for additional hours worked.
You will live within our region, have a great knowledge of the area, enjoy taking part in or cheering on friends and family at an event, believe in the work of East Anglian Air Ambulance, may have attempted to make a TikTok video, believe in putting supporters at the heart of everything you do and like supporting people to do their very best – be that running another mile or raising that extra £.
For an informal chat about the role please contact Stuart Wyle, Director of Engagement & Income on 03450 669 999.
Closing date: Tuesday 10 May (9am)
Interview date: Wednesday 18 May
