These meetings will provide an opportunity to meet clinicians, patients, volunteers and staff from EAAA, to hear how we work together to provide the best possible care for the patients we attend. You will hear patients speak about their personal experience – why, when and how they were treated by EAAA, together with either the doctor or paramedic who was there at the time of the accident or medical incident. The clinical team can fill in any gaps and explain what treatment was given and how what are often life-changing decisions are made within seconds of arriving on scene.
We have also invited some of our volunteers to speak about their experiences with EAAA – we rely on a growing number of dedicated volunteers who help with all manner of tasks and responsibilities, from looking after collection boxes to being one of our trustees. All are passionate about supporting EAAA, and so the Roadshow will provide a platform for you to hear the warming stories about why our volunteers give so much of their time and energy to our service.
