Beginning the route in King's Lynn
The charity bike ride around East Anglia for East Anglian Air Ambulance – 400 miles has never been so rewarding!
Entries are now open for 2018. After five successful years we are proud to see that 2017’s Adrian Flux Lap of Anglia tipped the total raised since 2013 to £79,000. 2018 will add yet more lifesaving funds as we aim for each Lapper to raise around £250 for East Anglian air Ambulance.
The 2018 event will begin at 8am on Wednesday 8th August 2018 in King’s Lynn, returning there around 400 miles later on the evening of 11th August having encircled the EAAA territory.
Remember the Adrian Flux Lap of Anglia is ideal for people who don’t fancy the pressure of a long-distance cycle race, or aren’t looking to shave fractions off of their best times, but still want to push themselves hard on a bike for a worthy cause, and we ask that each Lapper aims to raise at least £250.
The 2018 event fees start at £250, but Early Birds should get a slight discount, and with a discount for booking two spots where available, making sure we’ve maintained our reputation for being much kinder on the wallet than other endurance events, as we’re not in this to make a profit for the organisers. This entry fee covers accommodation costs for three nights on the road as well as a welcome pack, jersey, admin fee, completion medal and everything else needed to run the event. Contact us to discuss entering the Lap of Anglia in the future. If you do so and wish to pay more than the entry fee when you enter then any extra money goes to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
