Do something a little different to celebrate the story of Easter: Join the pilgrimage walk as we become part of the crowd and watch the story of the passion of our Lord performed at outdoor locations in Reedham.
Reedham Passion Play is an outdoor interactive theatre experience in Reedham Village taking place on Good Friday. The festivities will begin at the Village Hall (Reedham, Norfolk, NR13 3HL) at midday for refreshments, followed by a 1:30pm meeting at the Village School, a stone’s throw away, for the main event where you will see the play on foot across 5 different locations within the village. The event is free for anyone who wishes to attend but donations to the to East Anglian Air Ambulance are most welcome.
This event will go ahead whatever the weather and there is ample parking available, as well as transport to shuttle those who do not wish to walk between locations.
The Passion Play begins with the Palm Sunday celebration and then to Caiaphas’ House, onto Gethsemane, Pilate’s Headquarters and finally the road to the Crucifixion.
There is a large company of people involved in set design and production, costumes, acting, publicity and organisation.
