The critical care team from Anglia Two was tasked to Cambridge to assist EEAST and Cambridgeshire Police with a main in his forties who required urgent critical care.

Doctor Lindsay Merry and Critical Care Paramedic Nigel Strange gave the patient a full assessment and splinted his injuries.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital by land ambulance, accompanied by the air ambulance crew, for further treatement.
