The critical care team from Anglia Two was tasked near to Bury St Edmunds by rapid response vehicle to assist EEAST with a man in his fifties who was involved in a road traffic collision. 

Doctor Claire Anderson, Critical Care Paramedic David Killingback and Supervisor Doctor Karen Rhodes gave the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care, including sedating the patient and splinting an injury. 

The critical care team then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke's Hospital, by land ambulance, for further treatment.
