Mission Report

Cardiac Arrest

12 October: Happisburgh

Anglia One was tasked to Happisburgh to assist EEAST and the Norfolk Police with a man in his sixties who had suffered a cardiac arrest. Babcock pilots landed the helicopter at a nearby village green.

Doctor Nicola Ebbs and Critical Care Paramedic Carl Smith provided enhanced care on scene, including advanced airway intervention, chest compressions and use of a defibrillator.

The patient was then packaged for transport and flown to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
