The critical care team from Anglia Two was tasked by air, near to Mildenhall to assist EEAST and the police with a man in his fifties who was involved in a road traffic collision.  Babcock pilots landed the helicopter in a nearby field adjacent to the scene.

Doctor Nicky Ueckermann and Critical Care Paramedic Joe Dowsing gave the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care involving use of an ultrasound.  The HEMS crew accompanied the patient to West Suffolk Hospital by land ambulance, for further treatment.
