Medical Emergency

15 September: Felixstowe


Anglia Two was tasked to Felixstowe to assist EEAST with a man in his forties who suffered a medical emergency. Pilots Matt Sandbach and lee Kennedy landed the helicopter on a nearby school field. 

Doctor Mark Clayton and Critical Care Paramedic Gary Spitzer gave the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care, including administering medication. 

The HEMS team then accompanied the patient to Ipswich Hospital, by land ambulance, for further treatment.
