Anglia One was tasked near to Lakenheath to assist EEAST, police and fire teams with a man in his twenties who was involved in a road traffic collision. Pilots Allen Gareth and Henrietta Davies landed the helicopter in a field adjacent to the scene. 

Doctor Nicola Ebbs and Critical Care Paramedic Nigel Strange gave the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care, including sedating the patient, assisting with his breathing and roadside surgical procedures.

The HEMS team then accompanied the man to Addenbrooke's Hospital, by land ambulance, for further treatment.
