Anglia Two was tasked near to Duxford to assist EEAST with a teenage boy who was involved in a road traffic collision.

Babcock pilots landed the helicopter in a field adjacent to the scene.

Doctor Drew Welch and Critical Care Paramedic Carl Smith gave the patient a full assessment, provided sedation and splinted his injuries in readiness for transport to hospital.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital by land ambulance, accompanied by the HEMS crew, for further treatement.
