Anglia Two was tasked near to Downham Market to assist EEAST and Police teams with a man in his fifties who was involved in a road traffic collision. Babcock Pilots landed the helicopter in a field at the scene.

Doctor Abilius Wong and Critical Care Paramedic Andy Bates gave the patient a full assessment with use of an advanced ultrasound monitor and provided enhanced pre-hospital care at the scene including providing advanced pain relief, sedating the patient and treating and splinting an injury.

The patient was then flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, for further treatment.
