The critical care team from Anglia Two was tasked to Cambridge by rapid response vehicle to assist EEAST with a woman in her fifties who was involved in a road traffic collision. 

Doctor Rishi Rallan and Critical Care Paramedic Gary Spitzer / Doctor gave the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care at the scene including administering advanced pain relief and treating and splinting an injury. 

The HEMS crew then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, by road ambulance, for further treatment.
