The critical care team from Anglia Two was tasked near to Letchworth Garden City by rapid response vehicle to assist EEAST and Fire and Rescue services with a woman in her seventies who suffered a fall.

Doctor Lindsay Merry and Critical Care Paramedic Liam Sagi gave the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care at the scene, including sedating the patient and dressing and splinting injuries.

The critical care team then accompanied the patient to Lister Hospital, by road ambulance, for further treatment.
