Road Traffic Collision

27 February: Wells Next The Sea

Anglia One was tasked to Wells Next The Sea to assist EEAST, Police and Fire teams with four patients who were involved in a road traffic collision. Babcock Pilots landed the helicopter in a field near to the scene.

Doctor Halden Hutchinson-Bazely, Critical Care Paramedic Jordan van-Noortwijk and Supervisor Doctor Nicola Ebbs gave the first patient, a woman in her fifties, a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care at the scene including administering advanced pain relief. The patient was then flown to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, for further treatment.

The second patient, a man in his thirties, was given a full assessment by the crew, before being transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn by the EEAST land ambulance team, for further treatment.

The third patient, a child, was given a full assessment by the crew, before being transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn by the EEAST land ambulance team, for further treatment.

The fourth patient, a man in his twenties, was given a full assessment by the crew, before being transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn by the EEAST land ambulance team, for further treatment.
