Cardiac Arrest

28 June: Norwich


The critical care team from Anglia One was tasked to Norwich, by rapid response vehicle, to assist the EEAST team with a man in his sixties who had suffered a cardiac arrest. 

Doctor Mark Clayton, Critical Care Paramedic Lou Rosson and Supervisor Doctor Toby Edmunds worked together with the EEAST team to achieve a return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC).

The critical care team provided a full assessment before transferring the patient by road to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
