Purchase Ledger Lead
Annual Salary: £21,000 - £25,872 per annum
Location: Norwich
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Part-time considered)
Contract: Permanent
As EAAA has grown and enhanced its lifesaving services by providing 24/7 emergency helicopter cover across East Anglia, the financial volumes and complexities of the Charity have grown too. We believe that Finance should deliver value above and beyond the basic requirements – Finance is here to help deliver the goals of the Charity, not simply report on the costs. We are therefore seeking to add to the services and support we provide to the Charity, through bringing in additional expertise and updating systems and processes. If you have a passion for providing great service and are seeking an opportunity to play your part in taking our finance systems and processes forward, then we have some great roles on offer.
Managing the day-to-day running of the Purchase Ledger you will ensure that all invoices, employee expense claims and payment runs are processed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. You will provide all budget holders with the information they need to monitor expenditure effectively and identify improvements to processes, successfully implementing procedural change. You will also have the opportunity to investigate system and process improvements, including monitoring expenditure to improve value for money and environmental impact.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a sole purchase ledger position and will be confident processing high volumes of invoices on a weekly basis, be highly organised, reliable and able to use their own initiative to resolve any queries that may arise. A confident communicator you will have the ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
We are immensely proud to have been listed as the number one charity to work for in the 2021 Best Companies list for the national Charity Sector. East Anglian Air Ambulance not only operates with total patient focus but provides a supportive working environment where everyone can develop and make a difference – Together We Save Lives.
For an informal chat about the role please contact Rachel Spencer, Finance Director on 03450 669 999.
Closing date: Tuesday 22 March (9am)
