Lottery Draw Date Changes
21 December 2020
The Christmas period is upon us which means that the season’s bank holidays require us to change the dates we are able to draw our weekly lottery.
The EAAA weekly lottery is usually drawn by our dedicated team every Friday. On occasion, such as Good Friday, we need to move the draw a day early. This is not only down to having the staff in the office to fulfil the draw and get the winning cheques in the post, it is also down to the days we have available to be able to receive the funds from the players' bank to enter them into the draw.
With Christmas day falling on a Friday this year, this has a knock-on effect meaning that the usual Boxing Day Bank Holiday moves to the following Monday. It also means that the following Friday will be New Year’s Day, another bank holiday!
We agree, it does get complicated, and this culmination of two bank holidays in one week means we have had to be creative in how we can run our draw to make sure that no-one misses out.
Below is a table showing the changes that we have made with regards to the EAAA weekly draw, if you have any questions, then please get in touch by emailing info@eaaa.org.uk or by calling the Supporter Team on 03450 669 999.
Thank you for your continued support.
