Why we need you?
We have collecting tins across the county in local shops, pubs and restaurants and are always looking for new opportunities to put out more, as well as reliable volunteers to look after the ones already distributed, which is where you come in.
In 2023, collection boxes raised over £66,000 for the charity. Even just one extra box could help raise vital funds and awareness for East Anglian Air Ambulance!
What will I be doing?
- Collecting the tins when they are full, replacing them with an empty one and counting and banking
the money raised - Using your local knowledge, you’ll look for new places we might be able to put our collecting tins
- Being a positive ambassador for East Anglian Air Ambulance, helping to raise awareness of our vital charity as well as funds
When can I volunteer?
We are looking for volunteers across the four counties we serve, but don’t worry, the volunteering will be local to you. This is a flexible role which offers you the chance to co-ordinate your fundraising around your other commitments.
We hope to see you volunteering with us at least once a month subject to suitable opportunities being available. Obviously, you’re very welcome to do more than that and we love to see you getting the most out of volunteering with East Anglian Air Ambulance!

- Reliability, as you will be relied upon to collect the tins when they are full, count and bank the money and complete our returns forms
- To be friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
- Your own means of transport
- Ability and confidence to handle money
- A commitment to undertake training
