At East Anglian Air Ambulance, our care continues long after the emergency. Our Aftercare Team offers guidance, support, and a friendly face to help patients, families and bystanders navigate life after a traumatic event. We're here to listen, answer questions, and make sure no one feels alone in their recovery journey.

Our Aftercare volunteers

You may also meet our wonderful team of Aftercare Volunteers, an extension of our Aftercare service who bring warmth, empathy, and lived experience to the support we offer.

Whether making follow-up calls, sharing their own recovery journeys, or simply being a reassuring presence, they help patients and their loved ones feel heard, understood, and less alone.

Their contribution adds a deeply personal touch to our care, helping people navigate life after trauma with compassion and connection. We are incredibly grateful for all they do.
