    1. 24 hour sponsored bowling, Bedford (all-day) @ Bedford Bowling Club

      Bedford bowling_eventThere will be a 24 hour Sponsored Bowling Event held for EAAA.

      The proceeds will be donated to us, so please come along and support the bowlers while they all raise valuable funding.

    1. Bedford Rugby Club collection, Bedford @ Bedford Blues Rugby Club
      1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      bedford blues_event logoEAAA will have a bucket collection as chosen by the Bedford Followers Association at the Bedford Blues Rugby Club so please come along and support your rugby team and EAAA.

      A collection will take place at 1:30pm – 3pm & 4:45pm – 6:30pm

    1. St George’s Day Run, Sheringham @ Sheringham Station car park
      8:30 am – 10:30 am

      Classic car_eventA St George’s Day Vintage Car run will be taking place to raise valuable funds for EAAA.

      The race begins at 9:30am but it is advised to arrive for 8:30.

      Start location: Station Road, Sheringham, Norfolk NR26, UK

      End location: Old Buckenham Airfield NR17 1PU

       Do not forget to fly your England flag! Refreshments will be available at both ends of the run with a raffle to be held at the Airfield.

      Photographs will be taken at Old Buckenham of your vehicle for a nominal fee of £2 payable at the start.

      There is no entry fee for this event but a minimum donation of £5 to the EAAA would be much appreciated. This will be collected at the start where you will receive your route map for the day which you will need to get into our dedicated parking area at Old Buckenhan Airfield.

      Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times

    2. Carlsburger car boot sale, Snetterton @ Snetterton Park
      11:00 am – 5:00 pm

      In aid of EAAA, there will be a car boot sale to help raise valuable funds for our helicopter!

      Please come along and support us and the local area by buying trinkets, furniture, and even toys! Every £ helps.

      There will be refreshment stalls available on the day, and toilets will also be on site.

    1. Caston Metal Detecting Marathon, Caston (all-day) @ Fields of Caston
      May 2

      Peter Barker, amateur historian and voluntary curator of Gillingham Museum will be metal detecting in the fields of Caston in the Breckland area of Norfolk on Friday 2nd May 2014.

      Peter is hoping to raise at least £250 from sponsorship and in addition, auction any finds made on the day (and donate the proceeds of sale) following recording of the artefacts by his friend Dr Adrian Marsden from Norwich Museum.

      People in Norfolk have always been very warm and friendly during his many years of field walking in the area and Peter recognises the excellent and difficult work of EAAA and wishes to give something back to the local community.

    1. Icknield Road Club Sportive, Ampthill @ Redbourne School, Ampthill
      8:30 am – 5:00 pm

      Cycle sportive_event

      There will be 3 rides on the day ranging from 15 to 45 to 70 miles!

      There is online entry and further details are available on the British Cycling website here. Riders of all abilities are welcome to this event.

      Maps for this event will be available shortly, and all rides will have routes signposted and GPX for those with navigation devices. There will be food available throughout the route and a sweeper vehicle following the last rider.

      Please remember this is not a race, but a friendly cycle ride.

    2. Mayor of Lowestoft’s Ball, Oulton Broad @ Ivy House Country Hotel
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      There will be an evening of live music and dancing at The Mayor’s Ball! Please come along to this exclusive event and enjoy the evening to help support EAAA and other local charities.

      There will be a wonderful three course meal included and live music will be performed by the band ‘Scratch the Cat’.

    3. Lindsay Hamilton and Friends Concert, Kings Lynn @ Kings Lynn Arts Theatre
      7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      logo_kings lynn arts_eventA Variety Concert with Lindsay Hamilton & Friends will be taking place at the Kings Lynn Arts Theatre.

    4. Pedal Norfolk, Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea @ Holkham Hall
      9:00 am – 5:00 pm

      pn-2014-(logo)This event will be fun for all the family with lots going on including cycling, BMXing, and demonstrations. There will also be opportunities for you to join in too.

      EAAA will be at the stall over the three days, so come and say hello.
