To support our Cambridge Air Base Appeal, we're offering the chance for your name to fly with us on every mission.
For donations of £175 or over, we would like to celebrate your support by adding your name, or the name of someone special, to one of our helicopters for a two-year period. As a significant donor to this campaign, your name will also be recorded at the new base itself. Each name serves as a visible reminder that, at a critical time for the charity, you stepped forward to help keep this service flying.
The inclusion of a name is a form of recognition and has no monetary value.
Cambridge Airport will be closing. This means we must relocate and build a new home for our Cambridgeshire crew so we can continue bringing advanced critical care to patients across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Including a name on our helicopter is a way to stand with us as we take this next step.

Previous donations have helped keep our helicopters flying, and we’re incredibly grateful for your support.
“Fly with us on every mission” is part of our Cambridge Air Base Appeal. Because of this, only donations of £175 or more made specifically to this campaign are eligible for inclusion.
If you’d like to take part, you’re very welcome to make a new donation and add a name to the helicopter while supporting the new Cambridge Air Base.
Names will be placed on the body of one of our helicopters, meaning you’ll be flying with us on every mission. Placement may vary depending on space and aircraft design, and we’re unable to guarantee a specific location or aircraft.
The names will also be displayed in a like for like design in the new Cambridge Air Base. The exact location will be confirmed once the design stage of the project has been finalised.
Names will be displayed for up to a period of two years. East Anglian Air Ambulance reserves the right to remove names if operational, safety, or maintenance requirements make this necessary.
There will be an opportunity to see the helicopter with your name on once the campaign has closed.
We cannot give any specific timelines yet as it will depend on the success of the Names on Heli campaign, but once we’ve moved into the new base, we will be in touch to send an invitation.
If the campaign is extended for whatever reason, we will offer an opportunity for people to come and see their chosen name on the helicopter before the base is built – this may be at Helimed House in Norwich.
Yes. Businesses, schools, and community groups are welcome to get involved. It’s a meaningful way to show support and fly with us on every mission.
