Frequently asked questions

All your friends and family will be more than welcomed to join in the experience, the venue has a homely café on site which serves both hot and cold dishes as well as a large garden area with unrestricted views of your performance.

There is an upper weight limit of 85kg (13 stone 3 lbs). This is an absolute limit that cannot be exceeded, and all wing walkers will be weighed prior to briefing.

All wing walkers must be at least 18 years old and if you are over 65 years of age, your GP will need to pre-sign your medical declaration form before arrival.

Warm but not bulky clothing (no hoodies or scarves), soft soled flat shoes (plimsolls or trainers) and if you wish gloves. We will provide you with goggles and ear plugs. (No puffer coats).

Yes. All wing walkers will be given goggles to wear during the flight and they have some larger goggles which fit over glasses.

No, unfortunately even with goggles there is a lot of wind pressure and therefore a risk of contact lenses moving in the eye. We recommend taking contacts out and wearing glasses underneath the goggles provided.

Travel or motion sickness is often brought on in enclosed spaces where there is a lack of fresh air and disorientation results from a lack of forward visibility. During a wing walk you can see the horizon and there is plenty of fresh air, so people rarely suffer from motion sickness.

The flight lasts approximately ten minutes from take-off to landing.

No, you will not do loops and rolls on but you will do low dives and sharp turns, so you will have an exhilarating experience! Alternatively, a gentler experience is also available, if preferred.

The aeroplane will fly to a maximum of 700ft and a minimum of 100ft on waving-runs.

The aeroplane will fly at between 80mph up to 130mph.

Yes, this is an option which can be purchased from the venue on the day.

All wing walkers will need to be able to climb unassisted onto the wing of the aeroplane, which will require a level of flexibility. A member of our crew will help you climb up.

All our wing walkers will receive:
