Hannah Foreman Head of Aftercare

Hannah joined EAAA as Head of Aftercare in July 2025. Having gained a degree in Nursing Sciences at the University of Hull, Hannah worked in the NHS at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for 22 years as a registered nurse in the Medical Division, latterly as a Senior Matron.

In joining EAAA, Hannah welcomed the opportunity to develop her skills and career further in a new and inspiring environment. She is responsible for the strategic oversight of the charity’s Aftercare service, which supports former EAAA patients, families and bystanders in the turbulent aftermath of a life-threatening medical emergency, as well as having responsibility for the organisation’s safeguarding.

Hannah says, “Alongside my team, I am enthusiastic about continuing to develop new ways of providing aftercare to those that we support. It’s nice to be part of something that always strives to achieve the very best for our patients and families, and to have a positive impact on their lives during extremely challenging times.”

Hannah adds that the most rewarding part of her role is working alongside a dedicated team who demonstrate real passion for the wellbeing of those they support. She enjoys seeing several former patients and families who have since become volunteers, or who have supported EAAA through our Patient Forum Group, fundraising and other ways because they’ve built a strong connection with the charity and wish to give back.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys yoga, and her passions in life are food, travel, friends and family.
