QUICK AND EASY FUNDRAISING IDEAS

  • Fill the piggy bank with your loose change.
  • Sell your skills! Are you a gardener, baker, or DIY expert?
  • Hold raffles or tombolas. They are always popular – who doesn’t love a little win?…
  • Get fit together! Organise a sponsored challenge – walk, run or cycle.
  • Organise a small event, like a jumble sale, quiz or a sweepstake.
  • Have that clear out you have been meaning to do and go to a car boot sale or have a stall at a local event.

FUNDRAISE WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS

  • Team sports – plan a charity football, basketball, netball or hockey match.
  • Sell tickets and host a dinner party, coffee morning or tea party.
  • Involve the kids – sponsor them to clean the car, vacuum or give up sweets, for example. Maybe let them dress their parents or make the rules for the day.
  • Organise a games night. It’s a great opportunity to break out the retro board games.

FUNDRAISE AT WORK

Let the competition begin! How about challenging colleagues and other departments. You could:

  • Hold a quiz and chips evening.
  • Plan and enjoy a treasure hunt and charge for tickets.
  • Hold a fancy dress costume competition.

Team up and take on the challenge!

Join one of our flagship events – Only The Brave or Trek 24 – and make it a team effort. Support each other, share the experience, and even spark a little friendly competition to see who can raise the most money. Every step you take helps save lives right here in our region.

Other ideas to have fundraising fun at work!

  • Hold dress down or dress up days Challenge the boss
  • Raffle off an extra day’s holiday
  • Organise an office party and raise money by selling tickets.
  • Organise an auction of promises.
  • How about an accumulator challenge – everyone starts with the same amount of money and have a day/week/month to raise as much money as they can from the initial investment!

GO EXTREME!

  • Get your sports club or team to organise an event or tournament and turn it into a ‘athon’: Zumbathon, swimathon or danceathon.
  • Step into your own challenge – whether you cycle, row, or run, every stride is a step toward saving lives. Push yourself and let your journey inspire hope in the skies.
  • You along with your friends and family, can rise to the challenge, whether it’s conquering heights, braving the water, or facing those creepy-crawly fears. What feels terrifying becomes empowering when you do it side by side.
