The ten part series will air on Sunday 3rd March on More4 at 9pm and follow the vital work of our crews across East Anglia, alongside Great North Air Ambulance & Thames Valley Air Ambulance. The series will show ten sixty-minute long episodes each week.
Patrick Peal, CEO at East Anglian Air Ambulance, said: “Our crew were filmed while they were out on missions treating patients, providing our supporters with the opportunity to see exactly what happens on scene and in the helicopter on a daily basis. Not only does the series showcase what our amazing crews can do, but you can see just how your support helps.”
The patients that the crew attend have been involved in a variety of accidents or medical emergencies, highlighting the range of skills that the pilots need in navigating difficult landing sites and the advanced A&E level care the clinicians provide for those patients. It also highlights the serious nature of the incidents we attend and gives insight into the impact that they can have on our patients and their families.
Please note that the footage is of a medical nature and viewing may not be suitable for all audiences.
