This Easter, East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) crews will provide their expert critical care 24/7 across East Anglia. With longer days and warmer weather Easter is a much anticipated time of year full of plans for the coming months, but for some, their lives will suddenly be turned upside down by serious injuries or medical emergencies.
During the 2024 Easter holidays, EAAA crews treated 84 patients. 24 of those patients were treated over the Easter weekend and required the kind of urgent medical interventions normally only performed in hospitals. EAAA receives no regular government funding, relying almost entirely on your donations. Thanks to your incredible kindness, approx. 2,000 local people a year are given the very best possible chance of survival against the worst odds. Your support saves lives and gives families hope of a future together.
During the Easter holidays in 2023, the critical care team from Anglia One (Norwich) were dispatched to a life-threatening medical emergency in North Norfolk. They were informed it was a child fitting. The patient was six-year-old Albie.
Make the most of the longer and warmer days this Easter by taking part in these family friendly fundraising ideas.
