Road Traffic Collision

12 March: Near Fakenham


Anglia One was tasked near to Fakenham to assist EEAST, Police, and Fire and Rescue Services with two patients, a man in his sixties, and a man in his fifties, who were involved in a road traffic collision.  Babcock pilots landed the helicopter in a field at the scene.

Doctor Noamaan Wilson-Baig and Critical Care Paramedic Lou Rosson gave the patients full assessments and provided enhanced pre-hospital care at the scene including administering advanced pain relief and splinting injuries.

One patient was then transported to the King’s Lynn Queen Elizabeth Hospital, by the EEAST land ambulance team, for further treatment. Whilst the HEMS crew accompanied the second patient to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, by road ambulance, for further treatment.
