Road Traffic Accident

14 January: Bury St Edmunds


Anglia Two was tasked to Bury St Edmunds to assist EEAST, police and fire teams with a young boy who was injured in road traffic accident. Pilots Dan Mansell and Lee Kennedy landed the helicopter in a field adjacent to the scene. 

Doctor Rishi Rallan, Critical Care Paramedic Nigel Strange and Supervisor Doctor Ed Gold provided A and E level care at the scene, including giving the patient a full assessment and accompanying him to West Suffolk Hospital, by land ambulance, so that the team could continue to monitor him until he got further treatment.
