Anglia One was tasked near to Needham Market to assist EEAST with a man in his seventies who suffered a cardiac arrest. Pilots Steve Norris and Rob Gleave landed the helicopter on a nearby field.  

Doctor Guy Ohringer, HEMS Paramedic Dave Killingback and Supervisor Doctor Rob Major provided enhanced pre-hospital care, including administering medication, use of the mechanical chest compression device and intubating the patient, to take control of his breathing.

The HEMS team then accompanied the patient to Ipswich Hospital, by land ambulance, for further treatment.
