Road Traffic Collision

19 February: Near Claydon


Anglia One was tasked near to Claydon to assist EEAST and SARS with a man in his fifties who was injured in a road traffic collision. Pilots Steve Norris and Rob Gleave landed the helicopter in a near by field. 

Doctor Chris Chadwick, Critical Care Paramedic Luke Chamberlain and Supervisor Doctor Zoe Smeed provided enhanced pre-hopsital care at the scene, including treating and splinting an injury. 

The patient was then flown to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
