The critical care team from Anglia Two was tasked to Cambridge by rapid response vehicle to assist EEAST with a woman in her seventies who suffered a fall. 

Doctor Joanna Stevens and Critical Care Paramedic Gary Spitzer assisted EEAST at the scene by helping to give the patient a full assessment and provided enhanced pre-hospital care including sedating the patient, administering advanced pain relief and treating and splinting an injury. 

The patient was then transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by the EEAST land ambulance team, for further treatment.
