We need your help to protect our crew
We need to keep our crews safe so we can keep responding to the urgent calls we receive every day from our partners in the NHS. Covid-19 has had an immeasurable impact on the world, yet it hasn’t stopped cardiac arrests, injuries from falls and other medical emergencies that our critical care team continue to attend.
Our crew’s safety is paramount - we need to keep them safe so that the helicopters and rapid response vehicles remain operational and ready to respond when needed. To do this, we need your help.

Our fundraising activities, like so many others, have almost ceased, and though we are drawing down on our reserves, we are spending thousands of unbudgeted funds on emergency safety equipment that we need today.
Below is a list of the unbudgeted Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which we urgently need to protect our crew from Covid-19. We know it is an uncertain time for so many of our supporters, but if you are able, we need your help to fund this life-saving equipment. The list is just an example of what we need for the next few months. We have costed the main elements of the PPE kit along with other urgent equipment and supplies and it comes to just over £100,000. We hope this appeal will cover what we need; anything we receive above this will help our crew to deliver our emergency medical service.
