Together, we saved lives in 2025

It takes a team to save a life. We’re fuelled almost entirely by donations, which means your support powers every single mission. As we look back on another busy year, we’re humbled by how far your kindness has taken us in 2025.

Here are just a few of our highlights:

  • September was a very special month. Not only was it Air Ambulance Week, but we marked 25 years of East Anglian Air Ambulance. During that time, we’ve treated over 27,000 people. It was a humbling milestone only possible thanks to a quarter of a century of your unwavering support.
  • Throughout the year, our aftercare team continued to ensure patients and their families received any additional support they needed to help with their recovery journeys.
  • Over 32,000 people learned the skills to save a life by completing our free CPR and defibrillator training. That’s 32,000 more lifesavers in communities right across the region. Together, we also reached the incredible milestone of training 100,000 people since our Community CPR Training programme began in 2018.
  • Almost 800 people came through the doors of Helimed House to enjoy our base open days in February and September to learn more about our lifesaving work and the impact of your support.
  • Once again, you showed up in your thousands to take part in and enjoy our flagship fundraising events, Trek 24 and Only The Brave. What amazing days they were!
  • In June, we celebrated the achievements of our volunteers who had collectively given 12,000 hours of time in the previous 12 months.
  • And you didn’t stop there – you gave heartfelt and kind donations, played our lottery, held fundraising events, took on skydives, wing walks, and other epic personal challenges to keep us in the air and on the road, 24/7.

Everything we achieved last year started with you. Your donations, your time, your energy – they all added up to something extraordinary: lives saved and families kept whole. As we look ahead to 2026, we know there will be more work to do, more lives to save, more families to support – and with you by our side, we can continue to be there for people in the worst moments of their lives.

On behalf of our crew, staff, patients and their families, thank you so much.
