The East Anglian Air Ambulance Research, Audit, Innovation & Development (RAID) group collaborates across UK air ambulances, the NHS and universities to improve the field of Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine. Meet the individuals who make up our RAID Group:
Dr Kate Lachowycz is our Head of Research, Audit, Innovation & Development. She oversees the charity’s research and audit portfolio, using her background in epidemiology, statistics and data analysis to help strengthen and shape the future of pre‑hospital care. Her work centres on turning real‑world data into insights that improve outcomes for patients across East Anglia and beyond.
Neil is East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Head of Clinical Services, a Consultant Paramedic, and is a member of our clinical faculty group.
Dr James Price is part of the Anglia Two critical care team working out of East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Cambridge base. He is an Adult and Paediatric Emergency Physician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, the regional major trauma centre in Cambridge, and serves as the Consultant Lead for Research & Development within East Anglian Air Ambulance’s academic department, RAID.
Charlie joined our RAID team as Evidence and Impact Research Assistant in June 2025 after volunteering with us since early 2024. She now combines her role with RAID with supporting other areas of our work, including helping at fundraising events and supporting our aftercare team, in a voluntary capacity.
Gabriel joined East Anglian Air Ambulance as Clinical Data & Insight Lead in June 2025 following a career as a paramedic with the London Ambulance Service. Here he carried out internal roles, including a research paramedic, which saw him pivot to a career in data.
